Celebrate the season with Winterfest 2019!
The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce; City of Park Ridge; and the Park Ridge Public Library invite you to a Traditional Park Ridge Holiday Celebration from November 29 from 6pm - 9pm!

SANTA arrives on a Fire Truck at City Hall!! Mayor Marty Maloney
welcomes Santa and the community from 6:00pm - 8:30pm.**See below for additional information.

A Trolley, sponsored by the Shops of Uptown, will circle Uptown!
All caroling groups are welcomed!

Fire Station #35 at Cumberland and Devon winter open house!
Enjoy light snacks & warm refreshments! Check out the 2017 Fire Truck #35! See the luminaries along Prospect & Courtland sponsored by Jersey Mike's Subs (thank you Boy Scouts & Public Works!).

3 Trolleys travel between Devon and Hodges Park - up Prospect and down Courtland - enjoying beautifully decorated homes and bright luminaries. Trolleys are sponsored by Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Koenig Rubloff Realty Group and Summit of Uptown.

- Lacquer Lounge, 18 S. Fairview, will be serving hot chocolate and cookies.
- Board & Brush, 147 N. Northwest Hwy., will be handing out candy canes.
- a'lainn Salon Suites, 200 S. Prospect, will be serving hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes.
- Tess & Woo's, 143 Vine, will be passing out treats to the community.
- Hill's Hallmark, 19 S. Prospect, will be handing out cookies at Winterfest.
- Jimmy John's Park Ridge, 112 S. Northwest Hwy, will pass out candy canes.
- Re/Max Properties Northwest, 37 S. Prospect, invites all to enjoy a commemorative photo booth.
- Ash & Willow, 604 Devon, will be serving up cocoa and cookies for the night!
- Edie Boutique, 27 S. Prospect, will be open from 10-8. Snacks and Sales will be happening!
- Beer on the Wall, at Off the Wall, 106 Main Street, will be handing out small holiday lattes (adults) and hot chocolate (kids) for passer-bys.
- The Language Academy, 100 S. Prospect, Frosty the Snowman visit between 6-8pm and will be giving candy canes and cookies
- Make Room For Truman, 550 W. Touhy, will provide complimentary carrot cake cupcake and another holiday surprise!
- Park Ridge History Center, 721 N. Prospect in Prospect Park is following the Winterfest tradition and will be open 6-9pm serving refreshments.
- Sweet & Tarte, 112 S. Prospect, will be serving hot cider or cocoa and chocolate covered pretzels


'TIS THE SEASON... ♥


*Additional Information on Santa's visit to City Hall...
The event is free, but reservations via a ticket system are required. Tickets can be acquired at the Library’s booth in Hodges Park beginning at 5 p.m. on November 29. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis, with families having the chance to reserve their place in line in one of four 30-minute blocks beginning at 6 p.m., with the last block beginning at 7:30 p.m. The line to see Santa will close at 8:15.

Families will be allowed to pick up tickets for their own family as well as one additional family.

“We are so excited to welcome Santa back this year, and we’re thrilled to be able to return to City Hall for this event,” said Library Director Heidi Smith. “The partnership between the Library, City Hall, the Fire and Police Departments, Citizens Patrol and Public Works has been successful. The building’s layout really lends itself to the flow of traffic for the event. We are so happy to have this opportunity.”
